Although the field of Christian candidates with legitimate potentiality is thinning, I'm still not willing to make the monumental declaration that Mike Huckabee is the only one. However, if I were to try to be the best financial steward in the process of contributing to a campaign, I would donate to Mike Huckabee. That is why I am asking you this: If this site has helped to increase your support for Mike Huckabee, and if you want to contribute to his campaign, please use the widget above. (You can also find it in the sidebar.) By doing that, you will affirm the impact of this site.
Again, I repeat, I am still not claiming that Huckabee is the only option. But, as you know, I think he is the best option, as of now.

This is my first visit to this blog. When I saw the title, I could not resist but read.
I want a creditable leader who can run the American as our President whether the person is a Christian or not. People are confused about "human decisions" and "God's decisions". This is the concept of Romans 8:28-29 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." God governs (controls) the world (Isa. 40:22-24), the nations (Isa. 40:15-17), and us (Proverbs 16:9).
I am a Christian and I have been studying Christian politics for years. The idea that Jesus Christ has absolute and final authority over all of us in every detail of our lives is simply regardless of legalistic control by some evangelical Christians in the political world. Christianity will always be running against the prevailing movement of society with individualistic values of wealth, comfort, as well as doctrinal beliefs which resulted rejecting and intimidating people who get in the way.
There are Christians who want government set up their way which mean they want Theocracy rather than Democracy. Political and Christianity will always be divided no matter how hard we try. Only God can unite Government and Christianity together at HIS TIME. Not ours.
We need to understand God's ways for political understanding, for an understanding that will allow us to become more faithful witnesses in politics to the God who rules the world through Jesus Christ. Our political challenge as Christians is to learn how to exercise our earthly political responsibilities in obedience to Christ.
To me, any attempt to legislate against all sin would produce a totalitarian state. History has proven that evil people will use religious or secular reasons to obtain power to perpetrate their own agenda. I do believe very much in being a responsible Christian citizen. As good testimony to outsiders, Christians can work with non-Christians (& government) in attempting to promote justice and civic peace because it is good for all people, not just Christians (Galatians 6:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:15).
It is hard for Christians to strive for and to legislate humanitarian values while at the same time refraining from advocating the enactment of specifically Christian values. As a "community", we all are to seek to live with everyone. Christians are involved in politics because they want their interests represented whenever new legislation is considered.
Christians are involved in the political process in the United States while at the same, Christians do NOT want to initiate any kind of religious theocracy. Christians just want their rights protected so that they are not required to participate in a society that can compromise their Christian moral values.
We should all take a long hard look at what things we consider to be important from God's perspective rather than man's perspective.
In conclusion, we must careful not to identify Christianity with any political parties because Jesus Christ have HIS OWN Party which is HIS KINGDOM. Christ stands alone, above and outside of every ideology of any political parties. Jesus does not and will not join any of our parties. I am having a major problem with people today using God for their own interests into man-made political issues.
